After more than a decade living in China and completing a PhD in international trade at Zhejiang Gongshang University (ZJGU) in 2021, I had a unique vantage point: I understood China's manufacturing and trading ecosystem from the inside, while still thinking like the foreign importers who struggled to navigate it.
That experience — combined with hands-on work in international trade — made one thing clear: small businesses abroad were being underserved.
They either couldn't access China's best suppliers, paid too much through layers of middlemen, or got burned by quality and shipping problems with no one accountable.
So I founded Silkydo as a one-stop sourcing and shipping solution — built specifically for foreign importers, SME's and big corportations.
Dr. Anas Anabir is officially recognized by the Zhejiang Provincial Government as a foreign talent — an acknowledgment of deep expertise and long-term contribution to the province's business and trade ecosystem.
